Throughout history, renewable power has been the only source of energy, with the exception of a brief and ugly blip in time called the Fossil Fuel Age. Prior to the 1800s when fossil fuels were discovered, wind powered ships on the ocean and turned windmills to create mechanical power. Wood and animal waste was burned to heat homes, caves, teepees and huts. The sun was used to dry meat & fruits, bricks & other construction materials, freshly washed clothing, and much more. It's only in the last couple hundred years that we've relied on burning fossil fuels, which we know is temporary. only recently have we discovered the true damage this is doing to our home, Planet Earth. The true health & environmental cleanup costs are not yet reflected in our energy bills (pollution taxes, like those that now exist in Europe, are inevitable). And yet recent technology makes wind power less expensive than building new fossil fuel fired power plants.Regional conflicts based on control of 'preci
